‭‭“Therefore the Lord said: “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,” – Isaiah‬ ‭29:13

The more I walk closely with Jesus, the more He opens my eyes…

I start to see things differently.

Some people who look like they’re close to God are actually far from Him.

They say all the right words. They sound spiritual. but they’re filled with flattery, not truth.

They know how to act like worshippers, but their hearts are not in it.

And now that God has called me to serve, I remind myself daily,

“I will not let ministry replace intimacy with Jesus. My devotion to Him must come first.”

I still need to read my Bible every day.

I still need to meet Him in the secret place.

Not just to prepare for ministry, but to keep my heart aligned with His.

Because my heart should beat for Jesus, not for a platform.

Ministry is good, but it’s not the source.

JESUS is.

If we are too busy serving that we forget to sit with Him,

If we stop praying because we are doing “God’s work”…

Then we have missed it.

Ministry should come from intimacy, not replace it.

“Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, ‘Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?’” — Mark 7:5

The religious leaders were shocked. because the disciples no longer followed the traditions.

And maybe that’s what people ask about you now

Why don’t you follow the old ways anymore?

Why don’t you read horoscopes to know your days be like?

Why don’t you rely on palm readers to predict your future?

Why don’t you believe in those superstitions that say something bad will happen if you don’t follow the “rules”?

Why you stop blaming people caused you pain?

Because your eyes have been opened.

We can clearly see the lies.

We knew now how the enemy used fear and deception to keep us bound.

But not anymore.

Because Jesus has set us free!!!

Free from the traditions of this world,

Free from the lies of the devil,

Free from the fear that once controlled us.

Our identity is clear! Our future is certain!

We’re no longer bound! We are different! We are free!

Do you feel that deep freedom?

“Then He asked him, ‘What is your name?’ And he answered, saying, ‘My name is Legion; for we are many.’” – Mark 5:9

A legion of Roman soldiers contains around 4,500 to 6,000 men.

This man was possessed by 4,500 to 6,000 evil spirits, causing torment, pain, and fear not only to himself, but to the entire community.

While Jesus was casting them out, He stopped and asked, “What is your name?”

Why? Not because He didn’t know there was a legion inside of him.

Of course Jesus knew. But He asked out loud so that the people around would witness the truth that one man was carrying a legion of demons.

Imagine that, One human body, tormented by 6,000 evil spirits and yet he survived.

That same body, once filled with destruction. Now becomes the temple of the Living God.

So if darkness can fill someone that deeply, how much more should we understand that our body is able to become a dwelling place of the Holy Spirit?

How much more can the Holy Spirit fill us with His goodness, His power, and His peace?

‘But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat;both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.’” – 2 Peter 3:10

The day of the Lord, It’s like a massive volcanic eruption.

No one knows when.

No one can stop it.

And no one can stand against it.

That day will be the most glorious and the most terrifying moment on Earth.

It will be redemption for those who believe, but condemnation for those who do not.

The heavens and all their beauty will pass away with a loud groan.

The elements of the earth will melt with intense heat.

Its success. Its beauty. Its glory. Its might.

Gone in a moment.

The world and everything in it will be destroyed.

So I ask you,

What are you doing today?

Are you prepared for this?

Are you faithful to what God has called you to do?

Do you have a real relationship with Jesus?

““Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”” – Jeremiah‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭

This is one of the most powerful verses to understand and reflect on.

God told Jeremiah, Before your parents even decided to have you, I already knew you.

What does that mean?

Jeremiah wasn’t even conceived, yet God already knew everything about him; who he was, what he would carry, and what he was created for.

Before he was born, he was already sanctified, means his already set apart. God had already made an intention to bring what He saw in Jeremiah into the world.

Then God said, “I ordained you.” He didn’t just know him. He chose him. He appointed him to be a prophet to the nations.

And Jeremiah? He was just a young boy at the time. He felt unqualified, too young to be used. But that didn’t stop God.

God wasn’t speaking to who Jeremiah thought he was. He was speaking to who He created him to be.

So what does this tell us?

You might have been born planned or unplanned. But either way—it doesn’t matter.

Before you were conceived, God already knew you.

He already set you apart. He already gave you an assignment on this earth. And like Jeremiah, you might feel too young, too weak, too unworthy.

But God already saw it all and still chose you.

The question is:

Will you walk in what God already saw in you?

“Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.” — Psalm 139:16

God has a book.

A book that holds our story. Every day, every detail, every moment, every milestone.

Whether we do good or evil here on earth. It’s all written down.

That’s why Jesus said He knows the number of our hairs.

That’s how much we matter to God. How deeply He loves us.

Before we were even born. Even the day we would die.

God already saw it. He already knew.

This book is like a mother’s keepsake, writing down every milestone.

But God’s version?

He wrote it before we could walk, talk, or even breathe

Each of our stories was already recorded in heaven.

That’s why one day,

We will all give an account to God; whether we did His will or not.

But here’s the real question:

Where is Jesus in your story?

Because He is the greatest milestone we should all be part of.

If His name isn’t written there, We have to stand in the Great White Throne Judgment. We are all heading toward the lake of fire.

But with Jesus, You escape the judgment, And become part of His Kingdom.

“Because John had said to Herod, ‘It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.’” — Mark 6:18 

The cost of this one statement: was the head of John the Baptist.

He spoke the truth.

He called out sin.

He stood for righteousness, Even when it meant death.

As believers, we’re not just called to preach blessings!

We’re called to preach repentance and the Gospel!

Telling people the truth is part of love. And yes, truth offends.

It offends because it confronts sin.

It offends because it calls people to change.

But truth also sets people free.

Sugar-coated words might feel good…

But their end is destruction.

Lies imprison you.

But truth breaks chains of sin, shame, and bondage.

Do not fear speaking truth!

We weren’t called to be “nice.”

We’re called to turn hearts back to Jesus.

‘Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased, and you inherit the land.’” – Exodus 23:30

We often look at people like Abraham, Job, David, and even Solomon, and think God blessed them instantly, like everything came all at once.

But that’s not the full story.

God didn’t bless them in a lump sum. He did it little by little through seasons of testing, waiting, learning, and growing.

Because if God gives us everything too soon, we might not be able to handle it.

We won’t know how to manage it or even appreciate it.

God blesses us at the pace of our growth.

He’s not just pouring out blessings. He’s building us.

He’s teaching us how to steward what He’s entrusted to us.

He’s forming good habits, shaping our character, and preparing us to manage what’s coming—a business, a ministry, a calling, a promise.

Until we increase in wisdom, experience, skill, and maturity and we are ready to inherit the land according to His standard.

“Houses and riches are an inheritance from fathers, But a prudent wife is from the Lord.”

Wealth, land, and property can be passed down by man.

But a woman full of wisdom, discernment, and purpose?

She’s heaven-sent!

There’s a difference between a woman the world approves and a woman God has prepared.

A prudent wife is not just a helper. She’s been prepared, trained, and skilled to take the assignment and do everything to accomplish it with the help of God who leads and guides her.

She doesn’t just marry the man. She partners with the mission.

But if a man chooses a wife outside of God’s will, someone who looks the part but wasn’t sent for the part. She can unknowingly become the very one who wrecks the plan, She was supposed to help fulfill.

A Proverbs 31 woman didn’t become virtuous overnight. Before she was called virtuous, she first became wise. Wisdom taught her how to fear the Lord. Then wisdom shaped her into a prudent woman. One who builds, nurtures, and walks with divine purpose. From there, her life became the testimony.

Her story didn’t begin with perfection. It began with intimacy with Jesus, meeting Him in the secret place, where character is formed, faith is refined, and virtue is born.

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?” – 2 Corinthians 6:14

A yoke means a burden or a bondage.

In my own words, “The burden is that deep desire God puts in us, something we are called to focus on and complete before anything else.”

Is your burden to build a relationship with Jesus?

To serve Him?

To fulfill the calling and purpose He’s placed over your life?

Then ask this, “why do some marriages still fail, even when both claim to be Christians?”

Because one lives for self and the other lives for the Lord.

They don’t carry the same burden.

That’s why before entering marriage, the vision and assignment God gave you must be clear.

It should already be settled in your heart and mind,

so you can recognize the future He’s preparing for you.

And with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you will gain discernment. You will know who’s meant to walk with you and who’s not.

This is especially vital for men, because God gave them the authority, the vision, and the role to lead, build, and carry out His plans on earth.

That’s why when you get married, you don’t just marry out of love

but out of love for Jesus.
